Over IM, a friend asked me about Burning Man. He seemed to think that it was a pagan ritual because of the man burned in effigy. While it is not *my* concern even if it was, I have to admit that I still am not sure what the Man that is burned symbolizes so I figured this would be a good time to read up.
Its a well thought out essay so it might be worth a read.
