excited!!!

shone is purchasing a new wordpress theme and support forum for me this sunday.  he’ll get it all transfered and set up, and then let me take over.  I love learning more and more about wordpress.  I feel it’s an essential online tool that will be a part of this adventure for times to come.

we picked this new theme because:

1.  it has a solid foundation, the developers have put a lot of time and focus and continue to keep it running super smooth.  we have learned that lots of things on the internet look nice and shiny, however it’s important to understand the long term functions of the software.  this is key.

2.  the theme is simple and elegant, will highlight the Art Sex & Sustainability, music, erotica, recipes, life, events,  and more that we share.

3.  it has an amazing support forum and tutorials.  I’m going to be learning so much more.

4.  it’s time to get our sites: bohocrush, bohocrush blog, and new site getting ready for release to have a standard boho look and feel.

I’m so excited!

Never stop trying, never stop improving.  when you are creating something on your own, it takes time, and it takes countless logged in hours to really understand what you want.  don’t give up.  don’t let anything defeat you.  

I see too many people give up too quickly, (it takes more than a few months! sometimes more than a year).  Start practicing the long term skills it requires to maintain long term situations.  If you really have the passion and the desire, you will find a way.  

time to go have some fun, bartending tonight and tomorrow.  time on the bar has given me such an opportunity to think, and to reflect, connect the dots, and give all I can to this amazing adventure.

you want it, you have to go after it, you have to do it, every single day, wether you are tired, sad, angry, confused, happy, whatever!  get over yourself and start making things happen.
