For most of my life I have spent alone, independent, driving my ass everywhere, doing most of it all on my own.

Shone entered my life 8 years ago.

About 6 years ago, shone and I downsized to one car, and then none, now we share with our roommate.

I might have spent about 3 minutes total behind the wheel driving in 2012.  Shone and I are always together.  We run errands together, we take care of all things together.   He drives me to work, and picks me up.  Sometimes I take a taxi.

We spend our time talking, brainstorming, visiting, loving, and just being.

We are currently saving for a car to gain a little more freedom, summer is coming, and we don’t want to miss out on the nude beach.

Our roommate has met somebody, we are so excited for her, but that leaves us a lot more on our own now.

I love the awareness we have gained from having such extremes in our lives.

This time around, when we get our vehicle, we will pay cash, not have any payments, get what is good for now, and use it as minimally as possible.  Thank goodness we can walk to just about everything we need.

I’m human. I get overwhelmed, I get irritated, I get frustrated, I get grumpy, I get cranky. There is a natural reaction that we will experience because of our inability to honestly get everything we want and always have it our way. It’s life. And it’s good that everything doesn’t always go our way. 

Without challenges, there is no catalyst, no room to grow, no room to gain awareness, no room to rise up, to participate on higher frequencies. We become stagnant when this occurs. We become very unhappy when this occurs. This is a choice. 

I do not wish to be stagnant. So. 

I welcome the challenging events and people that cross my path. I use to be way more resistive, but I have grown. I have reached some epic mile stones. I stil have LOTS more room to grow, and many more mile stones to achieve. 

Am I perfect? NO 

Do I want to be perfect? NO 

I just want to make the best choices I can, to put my time and focus when and where it is necessary, and when it is not. 

I want to salvage of much of my time within the 24 allotted day to enjoy as much of life as I possibly can. 

I don’t know about you, but I like to operate on a warm and fuzzy frequency. One that nurtures my soul, my creativity, my sexuality, my productivity, my zest for life. I want to be and share the most love with those around me, especially myself and my lover. 

There are always going to be challenging events in our life that are going to require more of our time than we necessarily want to give. Some of these are necessary, and some of them are not. They key is listening, and learning enough, so that you know which ones are worth the time and energy investment, and those that ARE NOT. 

I can honestly say that I feel those that ART NOT seem to be in the majority, so it’s important to pay attention to life, and what is going on around you and inside of you. Our jobs, our living situations, our access to public to acquire necessities. Our immediate interactions with friends, employees, bosses, family, lovers, pets, etc. These all require a level of engagement in order to provide the most for all of us out of life. 

That’s what I am in this for. How about you? 

I want it all. and I want it in a way that makes my heart soar through the universe, that creates the kind of flow and energy that I do want. A life that creates beautiful human connections all around me. Wether it’s my barista, my bartender, my grocery store attendant, the customers I serve at the bar, my coworkers, my boss, and those people that I cross paths with on a daily basis, both online and in the real world. 

I give my best, I honor the times where I must step my game up to enhance more levels of my life, and I use this as my code of honor. The Four Agreements: 

1. Always do your Best 

2. Be impeccable with your word 

3. Don’t make assumptions 

4. Don’t take things personal 

I welcome you all to give your heart and soul to even the most challenging of situations in your life. Remember, they are there for a reason, and no amount of distractions are going to resolve and make them go away. 

Give your heart and mind to your life, treat yourself and others kinder, and kinder. The more you do it, the better you get at it. Learn how to ask for space in thought and heart, give yourself time to do the works. Just enough. 

The less turmoil your life and your decisions create within yourself, the more you give to yourself and those in your life. 

I send you all hugs and cheer through these changes of seasons, events, and life’s circumstances. Keep your heads up, keep your hearts in the game, and keep taking steps forward, little by little, with just a few big jumps along the way. What’s the hurry.
