we played it on the flat screens at the amendment 21 last night and had it on the overhead. the entire crowd just sat in silence and awe. it was AWESOME!

I was in a cab the other evening. The driver was Lebanese and we hit it off. After chatting for a bit I handed him a copy of my CD aRose. He was perplexed and asked me if I spoke Arabic. I do not. He told me that the title of my CD as it is written on the cover is an Arabic word. I was astounded and nervous. What was he getting at? I knew that Arabic was written right to left and that the font was Arabic lettering. Andrew Jones picked out the font because it looked cool. Neither of us had any idea it was an actual word. I double checked the translation with someone else and it is correct.

I love it when artists blog :) it’s such a magical way to connect with them, life takes them all over the world, and in front of so many people…….what would life be without artists
if it were not for an amazing gift from rab prior to the playa, of all kinds of amazing new releases to come, I think I would simply be crying and holding myself tight for missing his sunrise set at Simpler Times :) probably would even be in a fetus position, sucking my thumb!
